Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in Brescia.

The Service

Technician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of PORTACENTER and related machining equipment at customer sites and within the company’s facilities. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, conducting scheduled preventive maintenance, and ensuring machines operate safely and efficiently. The role also involves documenting service activities, preparing reports, supporting commissioning and testing,



and collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve recurring problems.

The Service

Technician will interact directly with customers, provide clear guidance on equipment use, and represent Porta Solutions with professional, timely service.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance, with experience servicing complex industrial or CNC machinery.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Experience in Field Service, with readiness to work at customer sites and travel as required.
- Solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build professional relationships.
- Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, mechatronic, or industrial engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
- Knowledge of CNC machining centers, automation systems, or industrial robotics is highly beneficial.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to comply with all safety procedures and quality standards.
