The Team

Physiotherapy in Hospitals South is a team of close to 150 people, incorporating a mix of passionate locals and new Tasmanian adventurers who will welcome your energy and experience. The service consists of several teams across the acute, subacute and community domains. The successful applicant will work alongside the Deputy Manager (Subacute and Community) to provide leadership, management and guidance to the acute physiotherapy teams. Your significant clinical practice expertise and experience, knowledge of professional and clinical governance in public health and tertiary hospital settings, will bring a broad understanding of health service delivery issues relating to the provision of Physiotherapy Services.

The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking a Physiotherapist with management and leadership experience for the permanent full-time position of Deputy Manager – Physiotherapy Services within Hospitals South.

The Deputy Manager - Physiotherapy Services (Acute) will:

• Contribute to a learning culture and foster leadership, innovation and evidence driven patient care.

• Collaborate within Physiotherapy and Allied Health Services to ensure efficient and effective functioning of designated teams.

• Contribute to the overall coordination, leadership, and management of Physiotherapy Services for Hospitals South as part of a dynamic team.
