Overview
As an Azure Data Engineer at NTT Data you will help customers advance their Big Data initiatives in a cloud-native setting. You bridge Data Science and Data Engineering to deliver practical data solutions. You will work with analysts and solution architects to translate use cases into data pipelines, enabling analytics and machine learning.
This role combines hands-on data engineering with a Kaizen mindset to continuously improve solutions and skills, in a culturally diverse environment. You will contribute to data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, and loading into data lakes for analytics readiness.
Responsabilità
- Support customers on Big Data projects and collaborate with analysts and solution architects
- Deliver data acquisition, transformations, cleansing, conversion, compression and loading into data lakes for analytics/ML
Requisiti fondamentali
- Cloud-native experience in at least one major public cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- 5 years experience on Azure preferred
- Experience with Big Data architectures, cloud and on-prem
- Azure infrastructure and networking experience
- Experience building proofs-of-concept to address business needs
- Experience migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud
- Experience monitoring distributed infrastructure (Azure tools or open source e.g. Grafana, Prometheus)
- Proven programming skills in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting
- SQL knowledge
- Agile Methodology and Kanban experience
- Experience leading medium teams
- Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and other Azure ETL/ELT tools
- Microsoft Certification: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Nice to have: other Big Data certifications (Cloudera, Databricks)
- Experience with non-Azure ETL/ELT tools (Talend, ODI, Informatica PowerCenter)
- Experience with Data Visualization solutions (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau)
