About the Role
The Supply & Demand Planner role at Onitsuka Tiger acts as the one-stop point of contact for demand planning and supply planning needs. The role includes developing, delivering and reporting on detailed demand plans that balance customer wants with global strategy, while working closely with a diverse group of colleagues to build plans all departments support. The role considers budget, product and factory constraints while maximising positive results for key stakeholders, and is based in Milan, reporting to the Merchandising Manager, Onitsuka Tiger.
Key Responsibilities
Develop demand forecasts and manage the planning calendar with related departments.
Build knowledge of forecast drivers by interacting with buying, sales, marketing and finance teams.
Review historical sales trends to prepare forecast data and evaluate future results.
Translate the demand plan into an effective supply plan.
Regularly communicate with the global head office and liaise with support teams where needed.
Support any other tasks that may be necessary and requested.
Required Experience & Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience in the retail industry.
At least 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with supply chain and sales processes.
Proficiency in forecasting and understanding of its financial implications.
Outstanding analytical, planning and inventory control skills.
Advanced experience with MS Excel.
Seasoned supply chain expertise with strong forecasting skills, balancing contingency planning with the business's bottom line.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive, can-do attitude.
Solution-driven mindset with considered decision-making and willingness to take on challenges.
Strong organisational skills and ability to flourish in a structured work environment.
Critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
~ Knowledge of SAP/FMS, A3, Informatica, Qlik Sense and APL Logistics.
