About the Role
Reporting directly to the Project Director, the role manages the project’s daily project management activities, with oversight over planning, design and construction activities provided by CAA ICON. It is responsible for coordinating the CDW scope and its integration with the main works. The role works closely with the Project Director, Project Management Team, design consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure consistent progress and timely issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Define CDW scope, requirements, interfaces and integration with the main works, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives, design intent, schedule and budget.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and manufacturers for CDW packages, coordinating technical pre-qualification and capability assessments; identify and evaluate potential consultancies for system integration and commissioning agent services.
- Prepare tender documentation, manage competitive bidding processes, lead clarifications, evaluate proposals and support final supplier selection.
- Maintain documentation for all contracts, insurance certificates and bonds for Owner-held contracts; manage procurement phases for CDW packages, including contract negotiations, purchase orders, production schedules and supplier obligations.
- Coordinate CDW design development, review shop drawings, ensure compliance with project requirements and maintain alignment with the architectural and engineering teams of the general project; assist Project Management in resolving design conflicts and field problems.
- Track production progress at suppliers’ facilities, verify quality and compliance, and resolve technical issues impacting fabrication or delivery.
- Coordinate CDW delivery, installation and site logistics with the Direzione Lavori, General Contractor and project team to ensure integration into the main works.
