Responsabilità
- Partner with Design to translate creative vision into product through technical feasibility reviews and ideation
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, assessing capability and capacity to meet demands
- Research and develop new raw material concepts and technologies aligned with briefs
- Manage raw material development critical path with Design and Product Development, ensuring deadlines and issue resolution
- Order and deliver raw materials on time and within budget and quality targets
- Ensure material functionality, standardization,
and customer-fit across products with ongoing risk assessment
- Collaborate with Operations during collection development and product testing to standards, negotiating any aesthetic changes
- Support production meetings and prep for proto and samples
- Maintain 100% accuracy in PLM records
Requisiti fondamentali
- Experience managing vendor relationships and delivering clear briefs
- Strong project management and critical path management skills
- Commercial awareness and ability to balance creativity with cost
- Expert technical product knowledge in leather, fabrics, textiles, and related processes
- Site experience with vendors and operational knowledge of factories
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of fashion trends and luxury consumer expectations
