Within our User eXperience (UX) organisation, we are looking for a talented business development engineer to translate market and customer needs into a winning EMEA solution and channel strategy. /p ul liOwn Renesas solution marketing strategy for motor drives in EMEA, covering industrial drives servo, building automation, HVAC, appliances, power tools, drones and 2-wheelers market segments. /li liAct as an industry-expert by providing vision, guidance expertise to Renesas' sales FAE community, customers and distribution network. /li liAnalyse market drivers business potential, customer challenges competition's positioning; identify white spaces and new business opportunities. /li liDefine solutions roadmap, value proposition, collaterals (kits, reference designs, documentation, tutorials) and go-to-market in collaboration with HW and SW product groups; act as the voice of EMEA market inside Renesas. /li liProactively promote solutions to customers and distribution network, in collaboration with Renesas' sales FAE organisation and channel marketing team. /li liAcquire new customers, identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, contribute to increase funnel generation conversion. /li liBuild up an ecosystem of partners (design houses, SW providers,
labs...), participate and speak at technology events. /li /ul pThis position can be filled also in:Italy (Milano), Germany (Munich, Nabern or Dusseldorf) or Austria (Graz). /p ul liBachelor of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or in similar field /li li7 years or more experience in business development, technical marketing, technical sales, field application engineering or product management in the semiconductor, power electronics or motor drive industry. /li liSolid working knowledge of motor drive systems: BLDC/PMSM/ACIM/SynRM, FOC and sensorless control, inverter topologies, gate driving, current/position sensing, MCUs and real‑time control, power switches (Si/SiC/GaN), EMC and thermal considerations, functional safety (IEC 61800-5-2/STO, ISO 13849, IEC 61508) and relevant standards. /li liEntrepreneurial self-starter: builds the plan and then executes it hands‑on. /li liStrong business acumen: financial literacy, market competitive insight, strategic systems thinking, customer value orientation, decision‑making prioritisation under uncertainty. /li liExcellent communication and presentation skills; credible with both engineers and executives.
/li liInfluence without authority; cross‑cultural collaboration (EMEA, Japan, US, China, India). /li liMS Office, CRM, BI, AI prompt.
