ppMy client is a well-established, private equity-backed independent power producer with a strong and growing presence across Europe. Following a recent acquisition in 2024, the business is entering a new phase of expansion, with a significant renewable energy pipeline in Italy multi GW portfolio across solar PV, onshore wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). /p pThe Italian platform is headquartered in Milan, with a large team of professionals and a strong track record in project development and execution. The company has a well-resourced origination function across Europe and is now looking to strengthen its commercial capabilities in Italy. /p h3bThe Role /b /h3 pThe Head of PPA Origination will lead commercial origination activities in Italy, with a strong focus on corporate PPAs and BESS offtake structuring. This is a senior, front‑office role requiring a highly entrepreneurial and sales‑driven individual with deep market knowledge and an established network of corporate energy buyers. /p pThe position sits within a broader European origination team and will work closely with senior leadership, including the Head of Origination. While initially an individual contributor role at Director level, there is clear potential to scale responsibilities in line with the growth of the Italian portfolio. /p h3bKey Responsibilities /b /h3 ul lipLead the origination, structuring, and execution of long‑term corporate PPAs in Italy /p /li lipDrive BESS offtake origination, including development of innovative commercial structures /p /li lipIdentify, engage,
