pWe are looking for a bPipeline Geotechnical Engineer /b for our pipeline project in Italy. /p pThe selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring pipeline integrity during construction, monitoring geotechnical risks, and providing solutions to minimize the impact of geohazards. /p h3Responsibilities: /h3 ul liSelect and optimize pipeline routes considering geological and geotechnical factors. /li liConduct field surveys to assess geotechnical issues and geohazards. /li liEvaluate the impact of geohazards on pipeline behavior and suggest mitigation solutions. /li liInterpret geological maps, aerial photographs, and satellite/LiDAR imagery for terrain and risk assessment. /li liMonitor conditions during and after construction to ensure long-term stability. /li liDevelop geotechnical models and structural calculations. /li liUse commercial software for slope stability analysis and pipe-soil interaction. /li liDraft geological and geotechnical reports, including terrain models and subsurface condition analyses. /li liDesign and implement innovative solutions for watercourse management with eco-friendly techniques. /li liStudy and monitor groundwater presence and manage hydraulic issues during excavation and pipeline laying phases.
/li liEvaluate subsoil diggability conditions to ensure accurate excavation operation forecasts. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul liDegree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. /li liActive registration with the Professional Register of Geologists. /li liMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in pipeline sector. /li liExperience with geotechnical software for slope stability and pipe-soil interaction analysis. /li liAbility to interpret geological and geotechnical data, including maps and satellite imagery. /li liGood knowledge of English. /li /ul pbPlace of work /b: construction site located in central Italy /p pThis position is open to candidates of all genders, in full compliance with Legislative Decree No. 198/2006 and subsequent amendments, and Legislative Decrees No. 215 and No. 216 of 2003 on equal treatment.
