The Group, a world leader in the luxury sector, operates in more than 45 countries with the PRADA, Miu Miu, Versace, Church’s, Car Shoe and Luna Rossa brands, and has employees of over 100 nationalities. /p h3JOB PURPOSE /h3 pThe Merchandising Manager is responsible for defining, implementing and overseeing merchandising planning strategies, ensuring effective integration between commercial objectives, product availability and sales performance. /p pThe role ensures structured governance of planning processes (sales, stock, margins), product procurement and distribution, ensuring the correct time to market in terms of product mix and destination geographies. /p pThe role is responsible for managing discount and promotional policies, guiding the planners team towards the achievement of financial targets through an analytical, data-driven and results-oriented approach. /p h3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 pDefine and implement the Merchandising Planning strategy, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, product availability and sales performance. /p pLead sales, stock and margin forecasting and planning processes, ensuring effective inventory management and achievement of business objectives. /p pOversee product allocation and distribution, optimizing assortment availability across different markets, channels and stores. /p pDefine and monitor pricing, markdown and promotional strategies, maximizing sell-through, stock productivity and profitability.
/p pAnalyze commercial performance and key KPIs, developing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. /p pCollaborate with Visual Merchandising to maximize the commercial impact of the assortment through effective product presentation. /p pLead and develop the Merchandising Planning team, fostering a results, analysis- and continuous improvement-oriented culture /p h3KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS /h3 pStrong business and commercial acumen. /p pStrong quantitative analytical and data interpretation skills. /p pKnowledge of merchandising planning, inventory management and demand forecasting processes. /p pAbility to develop pricing, markdown and promotional strategies. /p pStrong results and performance orientation. /p pLeadership and people management skills. /p pFluent knowledge of English. /p pAt least 5 years of experience in a Merchandising Manager role. /p pThe role can be based in Valvigna (Arezzo) or Milan; if based in Milan, it requires availability for weekly travel to the Valvigna site (50+ of the time). /p pJoining our Company means working in a creative and international environment, with teams of people motivated by curiosity and the quest for excellence.
