pPosition works under the immediate supervision of a Corporate Operations Manager or higher level position. This job is a project manager position and is responsible for managing trades, craft, and staff positions or sub-contractors, as required. This position is typically assigned challenging projects and performs a variety of Base Operations Support (BOS) project management functions. /p pbEssential Duties and Responsibilities /b /p ul liProvides primary oversight of daily operational activities and special projects. /li liPerform functions including planning, directing and budgeting for assigned contract. /li liPerform management administration functions, handling a variety of actions and problems relating to assigned contracts. May prepare and analyze project fund status reports, review billing procedures and contractual requirement submittals. /li liMonitor management plans designed to accomplish contractual objectives and provide direction and support to subcontractors, support staff, trades and crafts. /li liResponsible for monitoring budgets on assigned contracts. /li liReconcile inconsistencies between proposals and new projects and analyze the effects of proposed contract changes. May provide management assistance with the coordination and negotiation of contract changes. /li liMay prepare customer correspondence concerning contract commitments, modifications and punch list. /li liResponsible for keeping current on government regulations and commercial trends. Monitor contract compliance requirements to ensure compliance with Service Contract Act, Davis Bacon Act and other Federal regulations as required, including contract modification process. /li liResponsible for safety of all personnel on job, including sub-personnel, compliance with environment standards and quality of work performed. /li liResearch and address customer and employee complaints. /li liParticipate in long range planning of base operations support activities. /li liResponsible for overseeing the scheduling of work to be performed.
/li liOther duties as assigned. /li /ul pbKnowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements /b /p ul liBachelors' degree in business administration, accounting, engineering or a related field. /li liMust have five (5) years experience as a program/project manager of a large multi-faceted base operations type program. /li liExperience in government contracting and financial administration. /li liKnowledge of U.S. government procurement regulations and labor law. /li liMust pass OSHA 10 hour safety course. /li liExperience managing, supervising, and training multiple individuals and subcontractors at various skill levels. /li liExcellent management and employee relations skills. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills. /li liAbility to handle sensitive and confidential matters. /li liAbility to work independently and recommend solutions to problems. /li liKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Projects. /li liAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while attending to multiple tasks and demands. /li liMust be able to successfully pass a government background screen for admittance to jobsites. /li /ul pbPhysical Environment and Sensory Requirements /b /p ul liPosition works in office areas as well as throughout the industrial and administrative facilities on the installation. /li liPhysical demands include intermittent sitting, standing, and walking, and occasional bending, reaching, and lifting. /li liModerate exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, dirt, chemicals, etc. but not to the point of being disagreeable. /li /ul pThis job description is subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job change. /p pbWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing. /b /p pEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilitiesbr/This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
