Who we are looking for
We are looking for a skilled and motivatedFunctional Software Tester - Freelanceto join our team in Bitrock.
You will be part of a QA management project linked to the software development life cycle for an application in the field of eye care.
Key Responsibilities
Sprint Integration
Requirement Analysis:



Participate in Sprint Planning and Refinement to provide "Testability" feedback on User Stories.
Acceptance Criteria: Collaborate with Product Owners to define clear, measurable Acceptance Criteria (AC).
In-Sprint Testing: Execute functional testing as soon as developers move a task to "In Progress," ensuring bugs are caught before the sprint ends.
Test Execution & Analysis
Manual and Automation Functional Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of new features, focusing on UI/UX, business logic, and workflow validation.
Exploratory Testing: Go beyond the written scripts to find "edge case" defects that automated tests might miss.
Regression Testing: Ensure that new code hasn't broken existing functionality (often through a mix of manual checks and triggering automation suites).
Bug Reporting: Document defects with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, and logs in tools like Jira.
Daily Stand-ups: Provide concise updates on testing progress, blockers, and "ready for release" status.
