Altaïr Strategy
About usAltaïr Strategy is a student-led consultancy founded at Bocconi University. We work with early-stage businesses and startups on the questions that matter most at their stage: how to enter a new market, how to reach the right customers, and how to build a clear strategy with limited resources. Our projects cover market entry, marketing and strategy, and we deliver them to real clients with real stakes.
The opportunityYou will join a small team on an 8-week project for a live client. You will take part in the work itself: researching markets, analysing competitors, building recommendations and presenting them to the client. You will have direct contact with founders, which is rare this early in a career, and you will see how a consulting engagement runs from kickoff to final deliverable.
What you will do• Research markets, customers and competitors for early-stage clients
• Contribute to market entry, marketing and strategy deliverables
• Structure problems, test hypotheses and turn findings into clear recommendations
• Take part in client meetings and present your work
• Work closely with the project team and receive regular feedback
What you will gain• First-hand experience of how consulting projects work, with direct client exposure
• Regular feedback from the team on your analysis, structure and communication
• A letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the project
• A path to Project Manager at Altaïr Strategy for those who perform well
Who we are looking for• Students currently enrolled at a leading university or business school in Europe
• Fluent in English, written and spoken. Any other languages are valued but not required.
• Previous experience is not required, but is appreciated (case competitions, student associations, internships, entrepreneurial projects)
We value the following qualities as much as any CV line:
• Autonomy: you can move a task forward without being asked twice
• Problem-solving: you enjoy breaking down an unclea
