h3bSenior Microsoft 365 / Entra ID Engineer /b /h3 pbItaly /b /p pbInitial 6 months /b /p pWe are looking for a bMicrosoft 365 specialist /b with strong expertise across enterprise messaging, collaboration and identity services. The role will focus on the ongoing administration, support and optimisation of Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and associated security and compliance technologies. /p pThe successful consultant will work closely with the wider Digital Services and Messaging team, supporting enterprise environments and collaborating with technical teams across the organisation. /p h3bResponsibilities /b /h3 ul liManage and administer the global Microsoft 365 tenant and its associated services. /li liMaintain and configure bM365 and Entra ID policies /b, ensuring alignment with governance requirements and Microsoft best practices. /li liAdminister key Microsoft 365 services including bExchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview /b. /li liManage the provisioning and lifecycle of Entra ID objects, including users, guests, security groups, roles, enterprise applications, mail-enabled objects and Microsoft 365 licences. /li liManage email routing, message hygiene, anti-spam and anti-malware controls, quarantine and mail relay services. /li liConfigure and support online archiving, retention and compliance policies, including bPersistent Hold and Advanced eDiscovery /b capabilities. /li liSupport data recovery and investigate complex messaging and compliance-related issues.



/li liCarry out advanced message tracing and troubleshoot non-delivery and mail flow issues. /li liConfigure and maintain identity security controls, including bDefender for Identity, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access and RBAC /b. /li liImplement and manage bEntra ID Identity Governance /b capabilities, including Entitlement Management, Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Access Reviews. /li liProvide technical support and assistance to end users, including users working from remote locations. /li liParticipate in an bon-call support rota /b outside standard working hours. /li liUndertake additional M365, messaging and identity-related activities as required. /li /ul h3bRequired Technical Experience /b /h3 pThe successful candidate should have: /p ul liAt least b4 years' experience /b managing, operating and maintaining large-scale, multi-site and complex messaging and identity environments. /li liAt least b1 year of experience working directly with customers /b on Microsoft Cloud and Microsoft 365 solutions and deployments. /li liStrong knowledge of bMicrosoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview /b. /li liExtensive experience with bMicrosoft Entra ID /b within complex enterprise environments, including Entra Domain Services,



B2B/B2C, Identity Protection, Identity Governance, SSO, MFA and application registration. /li liStrong scripting experience, particularly bPowerShell and Microsoft Graph /b, with the ability to automate administrative and operational processes across Entra ID, Exchange Online and other Microsoft 365 services. /li liExperience or exposure to bmigration projects /b, including transitions from on-premise environments to Microsoft 365 and/or tenant-to-tenant migrations. /li liExcellent written and spoken bEnglish /b. /li /ul h3bAdditional Experience – Desirable /b /h3 ul liKnowledge of bIT Service Management (ITSM) /b, including ISO 20000 and the ITIL framework. /li liFamiliarity with enterprise management and monitoring platforms such as bSCOM /b. /li liUnderstanding of industry-standard IT service management and operational best practices. /li /ul h3bSoft Skills /b /h3 ul liStrong customer-facing and verbal communication skills. /li liAbility to produce clear technical documentation and reports. /li liStrong analytical and logical approach to troubleshooting complex technical problems. /liliComfortable working under pressure and with limited supervision. /li liStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within diverse technical teams. /li liProactive approach to developing technical knowledge and keeping up with new technologies. /li /ul h3bDesirable Certifications /b /h3 ul liMicrosoft 365 certifications. /li liOther relevant Microsoft certifications. /li liITIL certification. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
