h3Senior Technical Manager – Engineering Project Delivery /h3 pAt Sosteneo, we invest in the infrastructure accelerating the energy transition. We are looking for a bSenior Technical Manager – Engineering Project Delivery /b to bring hands‑on technical and commercial expertise across investment assessment, project delivery and asset operations. /p pWorking in a lean, fast‑moving international team, you will take ownership of technical workstreams across the full project lifecycle — from due diligence and procurement to construction, commissioning and operational performance. You will work closely with our Investment, Asset Management, Construction, Legal, Commercial and Finance teams, while managing and challenging external advisers, contractors and technology providers. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liLead hands‑on technical due diligence for renewable energy investment opportunities. /li liReview and challenge project design, constructability, performance assumptions, technical risks and delivery strategies. /li liSupport procurement and the negotiation of EPC, LTSA, OM, equipment supply and consultancy agreements. /li liAct as the owner’s technical representative through design, construction, testing, commissioning and handover. /li liProvide technical support to operating assets and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations. /li liDevelop practical technical standards, processes and governance for a growing investment platform.
/li /ul h3What we’re looking for /h3 ul liAn engineering degree or related technical qualification. /li li10+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy development, engineering, construction, technical due diligence, investment support or asset delivery. /li liStrong hands‑on knowledge of utility‑scale solar PV and working knowledge of BESS technologies. /li liExperience across multiple stages of the project lifecycle and confidence managing contractors, OEMs and specialist advisers. /li liStrong commercial judgement, clear communication skills and fluent professional English. /li /ul pExperience with BESS projects, technical contract negotiation, financial close, construction and commissioning, or tools such as PVsyst, PVCase, AutoCAD and GIS platforms would be an advantage. /p pIf you are excited by the opportunity to combine engineering expertise, commercial judgement and hands‑on project delivery to support the energy transition, we would love to hear from you. /p pThe role is offered within Impiegati area, under the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Banking Sector (CCNL Credito).
