Our expertise covers the entire space lifecycle - from satellite testing and launch services to spacecraft operations, space surveillance, and data management - making us a key partner in advancing national strategies and driving innovation in the New Space era. /p pWe are looking for a Scientific Projects Exploitation professional to join our team, supporting our client, the European Space Agency (ESA) at ESRIN in Frascati, Italy. /p h3Duties and responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the management of ESA EO projects (review of deliverables, issue RIDS, coordinate feedback.....) with a focus on oceanography and glaciology. /li liSupport the production of new technical/scientific materials (presentations, flyers, training material....) or datasets as requested by the Agency. /li liDemonstrate and present tools or results as requested by the Agency.
/li liContribute to the organisation of scientific workshops or training events or Webinars and hackathons. /li liSupport testing of toolboxes, platforms or technical deliverables provided by the Industry supporting ESA. /li liContribute to International Initiatives in support to the Agency. /li /ul h3Skills and attributes /h3 ul liThe specialist will work in a team of multilingual experts. /li liThe candidate must be fluent in English. Additional European languages are an asset. /li liThe successful applicant will hold a university degree in Physics, Remote Sensing or similar. /li liHave an in-depth knowledge of satellite remote sensing (in particular satellite altimetry), image processing and analysis, geomatics and GIS technology, applications and programming.
