We’re looking for an experienced Cyber/Tech PI Underwriter or Broker to play a key role in shaping the future of our Cyber portfolio. You’ll join our Global Speciality business as a senior member of the Cyber team, with significant authority on complex risks and a clear mandate to drive profitable, sustainable growth. Tech PI Underwriting forms part of the Cyber Vertical at Global Specialty. You’ll combine deep technical Cyber / Tech PI underwriting expertise with strong business and financial acumen, a winning trading mindset and a clear focus on customer and broker relationships. What will you be doing? * Leading and executing the Cyber underwriting plan, ensuring strong technical risk selection, pricing discipline and portfolio optimisation. * Underwriting complex and high-value Cyber / Tech PI risks in line with our appetite, guidelines and pricing frameworks, with a clear commitment to risk quality, governance and best-in-class pipeline management / business development. * Using data, portfolio insights and market intelligence to inform underwriting decisions,
identify trends and support innovation in products, propositions and underwriting approach. * Building, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key brokers and customers, acting as a visible and trusted point of contact for Cyber & Tech PI. * Collaborating closely with the Head of Cyber and wider leadership to shape and deliver underwriting strategy, bringing commercial insight and experience across different market cycles. * Providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to less experienced colleagues, helping to build capability and foster a high-performance, learning culture. * Working effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (including claims, actuarial, portfolio management, operations and senior leaders), managing priorities and “managing up” with credibility and confidence. * Supporting a culture of continuous improvement, including process enhancement, knowledge sharing a
