We are seeking a Materials Engineer with expertise in materials characterization and product development. The successful candidate will support the characterization, development, and optimization of cable and accessories technologies. In this role, you will: * Perform advanced polymer morphological characterization to identify dispersion and distribution of polymeric and inorganic phases. * Correlate polymer structure with chemical-physical, rheological, and electrical properties of compounds. * Conduct comparative analyses to support material development, troubleshooting, and product optimization. * Analyze, interpret, and model complex multi-technique datasets. * Generate clear technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for R&D; and engineering teams. * Actively support development of optimized material formulations and manufacturing processes for cable products. You are the right fit if you have/are:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Polymer Science or Materials Science * Proven experience in polymer materials characterization and microscopy * Experience with extrusion or injection molding processes is a nice to have * Solid understanding of polymer physics, chemistry, and structure-property relationships * Strong communication & interpersonal skills * Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset What we offer * Type of contract: Permanent * Location: Milan, Hybrid * Applicable Collective Agreement : CCNL Gomma, Plastica, Cavi elettrici e affini. * Job Level/Category: (Impiegato) in line with the applicable collective agreement. * Gross annual salary no less than: € 38.000,00 * The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
