Don't miss your chance to make an impact We are looking for an experienced Stress Engineer to be responsible for ensuring that structural car components comply with the design and performance specifications defined by Technical Management. The role involves structural analysis, design support, validation, and service-life follow-up, and contributing to continuous improvement of stress methodologies. All the responsibilities we'll trust you with: Structural Analysis & Design Support Perform stress analyses (FEA and hand calculations) from the preliminary design phase through to final part release, providing clear and traceable documentation of all analysis work (Stress Reports).
Oversee and coordinate the work of other Stress Analysts assigned to related tasks or components. Support the Team Leader in damage and defect investigations, ensuring timely and accurate root cause identification. Collaborate effectively with other departments to collect all necessary input data and facilitate cross-functional cooperation throughout the project lifecycle. Structural Validation & Service Follow-Up Monitor the in-service behaviour of assigned car parts, including trackside usage, structural testing, and service life follow-up. Create and maintain test procedures, supporting the execution of structural validation activities in collaboration with the R&D; Testing Department. Support the Team Leader in the preparation and management of documentation related to track support and design load definition.
