What the Job Entails (Top 5 Responsibilities) * Own full-cycle accounting and monthly close for a portfolio of eCommerce clients, ensuring a clean 5-day close on submitted work * Review Accountant work for accuracy, completeness, and documentation quality * Prepare and review reconciliations (bank, credit card, AR/AP, inventory, COGS, prepaids, accruals, returns) * Communicate directly with clients to share updates, clarify questions, request information, and flag issues early * Strengthen internal processes and controls; help streamline workflows to improve accuracy and speed What Makes This Role Unique * Similar scope of work as a Controller, but with slightly smaller or less complex portfolios, allowing focused ownership * High degree of client-facing interaction, owning operational communication with founders and client teams * Exposure to high-growth Shopify, Amazon,
