We are offering a rewarding role with scope for career progression. The candidate will join the R&D; function at Pirelli headquarter. In particular,
she/he will be part of the Tread Engineering team. We are looking for a candidate with curiosity and desire to learn.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
You will collaborate with your tutor in:
- New Tread Design – Support the development and optimization of new tread patterns with FEA tools.
- Predictive Analysis – Develop, validate against indoor/outdoor tests and implement predictive models for tread performance assessment (wear, noise, wet/dry behavior)
- Research & Innovation – Enhance tread design methodologies through automation, integration, and new modeling techniques.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Master degree Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering (or similar)
- Experience in FEA modeling, Abaqus preferred
- Matlab and Python coding skills for pre/post processing
- Ability with technical drawings, and knowledge in CAD
- Problem solving skills and Teamwork
- Language: Italian, English
