SHEQ Inspector (Construction / Civils / Groundworks)

£45,000-£55,000 + Accommodation + Training + Progression + Company Car + Expensed European Travel + Overtime + Company Benefits

Milan, Italy - Full-Time

Are you a NEBOSH-qualified SHEQ Inspector or Advisor with experience in construction, civils or groundworks, looking for an opportunity in Milan with accommodation and a company vehicle provided?

This company is a specialist civils and groundworks contractor delivering concrete, rebar and structural works for clients across the power, industrial, commercial and residential sectors. Due to continued growth and expansion into Europe, including projects in Italy and Portugal, they are looking to strengthen their SHEQ team.

In this role, you will carry out site inspections and support the delivery of safety, health, environmental and quality standards across civils and groundworks projects. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors and senior SHEQ staff to identify risks, promote safe working practices and ensure corrective actions are completed.

Based full-time in Milan, you will receive accommodation and a company vehicle, with European travel fully expensed. You must have the right to live and work in Italy without requiring visa sponsorship.

This role would suit a NEBOSH-qualified SHEQ Inspector, Officer or Advisor with a construction, civils or groundworks background who is looking to develop their career within a growing contractor.

The Role:

- Carry out SHEQ inspections across groundworks, civils, concrete and structural works

- Identify site hazards,



unsafe practices and quality or environmental issues, ensuring corrective actions are completed

- Support the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements

- Assist with site audits, incident investigations and near-miss reporting

- Work closely with site teams and subcontractors to promote safe working practices

- Maintain accurate inspection reports, SHEQ records and compliance documentation

- Work full-time in Milan, with European travel as required

The Person:

- NEBOSH qualified

- SHEQ, health and safety or site inspection experience within construction, civils or groundworks

- Right to live and work in Italy without visa sponsorship
