We are looking for a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Milan office.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
- 0–3 years of professional experience.
You Are the Right Candidate If You
- Have knowledge of geotechnical and seismic design.
- Are familiar with AutoCAD 2D, BIM software (Revit), and geotechnical finite element analysis (FEA) software, such as PLAXIS and ParatiePlus.
- Can communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in English.
- Are adaptable and comfortable working across a variety of tasks in support of our structural engineering and multidisciplinary projects.
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
Your Responsibilities
- Work closely with the structural engineering and interdisciplinary design teams, with guidance from a Senior Engineer during your onboarding period.
- Critically assess and evaluate technical solutions in line with project team requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates, financial assessments, and bills of quantities for geotechnical and structural works.
- Plan and organize your work to meet project objectives, deadlines, and agreed budgets.
- Split your time between our Milan office and site visits.
