Electrical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Your role
Develop and optimize existing products to meet global market requirements.
Design and develop specialized link boxes and related components for high-voltage underground cable systems.
Adapt and customize products according to customer-specific and country-specific requirements.
Maintain and expand technical expertise in electrical and electromechanical components.
Coordinate testing activities, including electrical and water immersion tests, working closely with one laboratory resource.
Support root cause analysis, failure investigation, and corrective actions related to product performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D;,
Quality, Production, and Project Management to ensure successful product delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, reliability, and cost optimization.
Your profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in electrical design engineering; experience gained through internships or academic projects will also be considered for junior candidates.
Knowledge of medium-voltage (MV) and/or high-voltage (HV) underground cable systems is highly desirable.
Experience with Autodesk Inventor is considered an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within an international team.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills in both Italian and English, written and spoken.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
