Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage secure and optimize enterprise Linux infrastructure supporting business critical applications. The role requires strong hands on expertise in Linux administration patching security performance management troubleshooting and production support within a 24x7 environment

Key Responsibilities

- Administer maintain and support Linux servers across production and nonproduction environments
- Perform OS installation configuration upgrades kernel updates patching and lifecycle management
- Troubleshoot complex OS applicationhosting performance network filesystem and servicerelated issues
- Monitor and optimize CPU memory disk filesystem network and IO performance
- Manage user accounts groups permissions sudo access services packages repositories and scheduled jobs
- Manage filesystems LVM mounts disk allocation and storage utilization
- Implement Linux security hardening and remediate vulnerabilities and compliance findings
- Plan and execute patching activities including readiness checks postpatch validation and rollback support
- Automate routine administration patching monitoring compliance and serverprovisioning activities
- Support backup restore disaster recovery high availability and infrastructure maintenance activities
- Coordinate with application database network storage security and virtualization teams




- Handle incidents service requests problems and changes in line with ITIL processes
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive and continuous improvement actions
- Maintain technical documentation operating procedures knowledge articles and infrastructure inventories
- Participate in oncall support and manage critical production incidents within agreed SLAs

Technical Skills

- 8-10 years of handson Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux Ubuntu or equivalent distributions
- Strong understanding of Linux architecture kernel boot process system services and package management
- Experience with OS patching upgrades security hardening and vulnerability remediation
- Proficiency in Bash or Shell scripting
- Experience with Ansible Puppet or similar configurationmanagement tools
- Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite or equivalent patch and lifecyclemanagement platforms
- Strong experience with user administration access controls sudo configuration and filesystem management
- Working knowledge of LVM DNS NTP SSH TCPIP system logging and Linux network configuration




- Experience in capacity management and performance troubleshooting across CPU memory disk network and IO
- Understanding of enterprise monitoring backup storage high availability and disasterrecovery concepts
- Experience working with incident problem change and servicerequest management processes
- Ability to support businesscritical systems within a 24x7 production environment
- Strong troubleshooting documentation communication and stakeholdermanagement skills

Blockchain Solutions

- Exposure to infrastructure supporting enterprise blockchain or platforms
- Familiarity with Hyperledger Fabric Ethereum R3 Corda Quorum or similar technologies
- Understanding of blockchain nodes peers certificates wallets consensus mechanisms and ordering services
- Experience with blockchain platform deployment monitoring patching backup recovery and security

Automation

- Advanced experience with Ansible Puppet Terraform Python or similar automation technologies
- Experience automating server builds patching compliance checks health checks and operational workflows
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code Gitbased version control and CICD pipelines
