The company is a long-standing partner of space agencies and institutions, with deep expertise in IT systems, operations, and engineering support for ground segment infrastructures. We are looking for a hands-on System Administrator with a solid Linux background, familiarity with databases, and a B2 level of English. If you’re curious about space, eager to work in a structured and international context, and ready to support a technically robust environment — this role is for you.YOUR TASKSProvide operational and system-level support for test and validation environmentsSupport the writing and review of technical documentationParticipate in system verification and validation activitiesInterface with technical teams during testing and deployment phasesAssist with monitoring, log analysis,



and problem troubleshootingCollaborate with engineers to ensure system integrity during operational phasesYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEGood knowledge of Linux environmentsFamiliarity with at least one relational database (e.G., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)English proficiency (minimum B2) – written and spokenAbility to work on-site 5 days per week in RomeProactive attitude and willingness to collaborate in a teamNice to have: Previous experience in technical documentation or test validationExperience with virtualization (e.G., VMware)Knowledge of basic scripting or automationBackground in aerospace/space/defense sectorsEXTRA INFORMATIONWork location: Rome (Tor Tre Teste area – well connected by public transport and with parking available)Work mode: 100% on-site, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)Type of contract: Freelance or Fixed-Term Contract until January 2026 Possible extension, depending on project evolutionCompetitive corporate benefits package.
