ppThe Venice Simplon-Orient-Express Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of all maintenance activities related to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express carriages and related equipment.
This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the rolling stock by implementing effective maintenance strategies, managing a team of maintenance technicians, and adhering to all relevant regulations and standards (ECM ********).
The VSOE Maintenance Manager will also be responsible for budget management, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiative, under the leadership of the Engineering Manager.
/p h3Requirements /h3 pMaintenance Planning Strategy : /p ul liDevelop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and strategies to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the VSOE carriages /li liConduct regular inspections and assessments of the rolling stock to identify maintenance needs /li liDevelop and manage a preventive corrective maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and downtime /li liMonitoring of the maintenance plan, together with Fleet Supervisor (ECM3), following the ECM Standard ******** /li /ul pMaintenance Execution and Supervision: /p ul liOversee the execution of maintenance tasks, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and ECM standards /li liTroubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues,
providing technical guidance and support to the maintenance team /li liCoordinate with other departments, such as operations and on-board Staff, to minimize disruptions to railway service /li liManage maintenance resources, including equipment, materials, and tools, to ensure their availability and proper utilization /li liImplement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce costs, and improve the reliability of the VSOE Carriages /li /ul pECM 4: /p ul liEnsure compliance with ECM regulations, standards, and safety requirements /li liMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentation to meet regulatory requirements /li liLiaise with national safety agencies and participate in audits and inspections /li liAnalyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement /li liDevelop and implement emergency response plans for maintenance-related incidents, such as derailments, equipment failures, and severe weather events /li /ul pInventory Management: /p ul liManage the inventory of spare parts and materials, ensuring that adequate supplies are available to meet maintenance needs /li liImplement inventory control measures to minimize waste and obsolescence /li /ul pBudget Management: /p ul liDevelop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that expenditures are within approved limits, Prepare and submit budget reports to management /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liPrivate Health Insurance /li liPension Plan /li liTraining Development /li liPerformance Premio /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
