Description
- The intern will support the Remarketing Team in achieving its business objectives by contributing to activities related to the end-of-contract phase of rental and leasing vehicles and their subsequent sales.
- Under the guidance of the Sales Administration and Local Sales Team, the intern will gain hands-on experience in administrative and after-sales processes related to vehicles owned by Volkswagen Bank and Volkswagen Leasing.
Role and duty – core business
- - - - Administration of buy-back sales (RAC vehicles) to the National Sales Company (VGI)
- Support in dealer management activities
- Communication of sales results and confirmation of winning bidders (local sales process)
- Monitoring and control of incoming payments (local sales process
- Support in credit checks on buyers (local sales process)
- Support in the release of sold vehicles (local sales process)
- Support in ownership transfer and invoicing activities (local sales process)
- Assistance with back-office activities,
such as self-billing, vehicle registration record checks and customer data updates
- Communication and coordination with buyers and external stakeholders
- Support in the management of severely damaged vehicles and wrecks
- Support in B2C sales processes
Competences
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with a particular focus on Excel (intermediate level or above)
- Passion for and interest in the automotive industry
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Curiosity about digital tools, AI and emerging technologies is considered a plus
