In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining core application modules for uFlow, a critical component of our service offerings.
This is a hands-on position where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and directly impact the success of our products.What You'll Be DoingDesign & Development: Design and develop core application modules using Java, Spring Boot, Camunda/Fluxnova, and Oracle DB.Requirements Gathering: Participate in client and stakeholder meetings to understand business needs and translate them into robust technical requirements.Task Estimation: Decompose complex tasks into manageable units and provide accurate effort estimations.Quality Assurance: Identify and resolve bugs, write comprehensive unit tests, and perform code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery.DevOps Support: Help maintain the technical infrastructure,
including continuous integration and automated deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.Mentorship: Conduct peer code reviews and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning.Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in backend development.What We're Looking ForBachelor or Master Degree in computer science or similarMinimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java.Core Concepts: Strong understanding of Java Core concepts, multithreading, and software design patterns.Frameworks & APIs: Solid experience working with Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.Build Tools: Proficiency with build automation tools such as Maven or Gradle.Collaboration Tools: Experience using JIRA, Git (Stash/Bitbucket), and Confluence for project management and collaboration.Databases: Practical experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle DB, and basic-to-intermediate SQL knowledge.Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, a proactive problem-solving attitude, and a strong desire to learn.Nice To HaveBPM Tools: Hands-on experience with BPM engines (Camunda or Fluxnova preferred).
Cloud Platforms: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Advanced DB: Strong SQL optimization skills and experience with advanced database concepts.Containers: Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Helm for container orchestration.
xysqume Leadership: Demonstrated technical leadership skills or experience mentoring junior engineers.
