Ground Operations Coordinator – Milan
About Us
Walks & Devour brings people together through unforgettable food and cultural experiences in some of the world’s most iconic destinations. In Milan, our tours range from city walks and private experiences to guided visits to landmarks such as the Last Supper and the Duomo.
Behind every experience is a dedicated local team of guides, coordinators, and operators who work collaboratively on the ground to manage logistics, share stories, and create memorable experiences for our guests.
About You
We’re looking for a Ground Operations Coordinator to support our day-to-day tour operations in Milan, primarily around the Duomo and Last Supper areas.
This is a hands-on, people-facing role combining on-site tour coordination with administrative tasks that can be completed remotely. It’s ideal for someone who is organized, punctual, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
You’ll work closely with freelance guides, local partners, and internal teams to ensure our tours run smoothly and consistently.
The ideal candidate is reliable, collaborative, and an effective problem-solver, with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, can-do attitude.
The position is tempo parziale, 30 hours per week, with a working schedule typically running from Tuesday to Saturday. Flexibility is required to accommodate operational needs, including occasional Sunday work and evening shifts.
This is a temporary, one-year employment contract under the CCNL Turismo, starting in November 2026. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Italy.
Fluency in both English and Italian is essential.
About the Opportunity
As a Ground Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our daily tours in Milan.

You’ll also help maintain strong relationships with local partners and suppliers, monitor compliance with operational procedures, and identify opportunities to improve tour quality and efficiency.
Feedback is an important part of this role. You’ll gather insights from guides, partners, and guests, as well as from your own on-site observations, to help us continuously improve our operations and guest experience.
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in tourism, tour operations, hospitality, or a similar service-oriented role. Experience working directly with tour guides is a strong advantage.
The position is based in Milan and combines on-site responsibilities with administrative work that can be carried out remotely. You’ll have some autonomy in organizing your working time within the agreed schedule, while ensuring that operational priorities, deadlines, and service standards are met.
