Street Smash Burgers
Construction Project Manager
? Milan, Italy
About Street
Street Smash Burgers was born in Lisbon in 2024 with a simple idea: going back to the roots of the burger with quality product and the smash technique. 100% beef, an open kitchen and a casual, authentic atmosphere. Today we’re growing across nearly 40 restaurants in 4 countries, and we’re looking for people with the drive to learn, energy and rhythm to grow with us.
The role
You’ll own every new Street opening in Italy, from lease signing to handover to Operations. Planning, tender, budget and site: on the agreed date and CAPEX.
What you’ll do
- Run several fit-out projects at once (civil works, MEP, extraction, equipment), from technical survey to handover.
- Launch tenders, compare offers and negotiate with contractors and suppliers.
- Control CAPEX per project and flag deviations early.
- Own construction milestones in the opening retroplanning and keep dates up to date.
- Coordinate permits and technical constraints with architects and engineers (SCIA, ASL, fire, smoke extraction, landlord requirements).
- Supervise sites on the ground: quality, safety, progress and punch list.
- Work with Operations, Supply Chain, IT and Marketing so each store opens fully ready, and document as-builts and lessons learned.
Who we’re looking for Must-have
- 3+ years as a construction or fit-out Project Manager, running several projects in parallel on tight timelines.
- Strong budget control and contractor negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Italian permitting and building regulations, and able to read technical drawings.
- Professional working proficiency in Italian and English.
- Based in Milan and available to travel within Italy.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in restaurants, QSR or retail chains.
- AutoCAD.
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish.
What we offer
- A structured, fast-growing company
- Dynamic, results-oriented environment
- Continuous training and real career growth
- Compensation package based on experience
- Company benefits
