No Offer Description Title of the project: "GenAI for legal practice: mapping the state-of-the‐art, assessing risks and opportunities". The research activity is part of the first line of the GenAI4Law project, which investigates the impact of Generative AI on legal professions and justice institutions. The selected candidate will conduct a systematic review and state-of-the‐art assessment of GenAI systems and Large Language Models (LLMs) currently used in the European legal sector.
Specifically, the researcher will (1) map and classify existing GenAI applications based on legal tasks, such as contract drafting, legal research, and document summarization; (2) evaluate the performance, reliability, and risks associated with these systems, including biases, hallucinations, and data protection issues; (3) provide administrative and organizational support for the project's activities, contributing to the production of scientific deliverables, reports, and the documentation required for project accountability.
