Do you want to build the backend infrastructure that delivers wellbeing to employees across Europe?
Are you ready to join one of Europe's fastest-growing companies? Do you want your code to power products that improve daily work life for millions of users?
If yes, join us to make an impact in a fast-paced engineering environment where you'll own backend services end-to-end, ship reliable APIs consumed by mobile and web teams, and contribute to a platform that reaches employers and employees across multiple markets.
Epassi's purpose is to boost everyday wellbeing. We are a leading provider of employee vantaggi solutions across Europe. Established in Finland in 2007, we were the first company to launch a mobile-payable employee benefit solution in Europe. We are currently hiring a Software Engineer (Java) based in Milan (hybrid work).
Your mission at Epassi

Your responsibilities will be:
- Build and maintain Java-based microservices that power both the B2C and B2B platforms, following API-first principles
- Deliver features end-to-end, from implementation through testing and release
- Design clean, well-documented REST APIs consumed by web and mobile clients, with backward compatibility and versioning discipline
- Align on API contrac
