Pipeline Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join an Oil & Gas project based in Milan. The successful candidate will have solid experience in pipeline engineering, fabrication and offshore installation, ideally gained on complex subsea and brownfield projects. Key Responsibilities Provide technical expertise throughout the pipeline engineering, fabrication and installation phases of the project. Review and monitor pipeline manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and quality requirements. Provide technical oversight of CRA and clad pipeline manufacturing, including Mechanically Lined Pipes, clad pipes and weld overlay solutions. Review manufacturing, inspection and testing procedures, identifying and managing potential technical and metallurgical risks. Review and provide technical input on installation procedures, method statements, layability studies and associated engineering documentation. Review welding procedures and technical documentation related to pipeline fabrication and subsea tie-ins.
Support critical installation activities such as shore approaches, abandonment & recovery operations and subsea connections. Contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments and resolution of engineering and construction-related issues. Requirements Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Civil or a related discipline. 10+ years of relevant experience in pipeline engineering within the Oil & Gas industry. Proven experience with subsea/offshore pipeline projects and pipeline installation activities. Good knowledge of pipeline fabrication, welding, inspection and testing. Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards. Previous experience working with EPC/EPCI contractors and international project teams. Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluent English ; Italian is considered a plus. Availability to work from Milan. The world needs you: AGAP2 is an equal opportunity employer: we
