We are looking for a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join an Oil & Gas project based in Milan. The successful candidate will have solid experience in pipeline engineering, fabrication and offshore installation, ideally gained on complex subsea and brownfield projects. Key Responsibilities * Provide technical expertise throughout the pipeline engineering, fabrication and installation phases of the project. * Review and monitor pipeline manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and quality requirements. * Provide technical oversight of CRA and clad pipeline manufacturing, including Mechanically Lined Pipes, clad pipes and weld overlay solutions. * Review manufacturing, inspection and testing procedures, identifying and managing potential technical and metallurgical risks. * Review and provide technical input on installation procedures, method statements, layability studies and associated engineering documentation. * Review welding procedures and technical documentation related to pipeline fabrication and subsea tie-ins.
* Support critical installation activities such as shore approaches, abandonment & recovery operations and subsea connections. * Contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments and resolution of engineering and construction-related issues. Requirements * Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Civil or a related discipline. * 10+ years of relevant experience in pipeline engineering within the Oil & Gas industry. * Proven experience with subsea/offshore pipeline projects and pipeline installation activities. * Good knowledge of pipeline fabrication, welding, inspection and testing. * Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards. * Previous experience working with EPC/EPCI contractors and international project teams. * Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills. * Fluent English; Italian is considered a plus. * Availability to work from Milan.
