Overview In this DevOps engineer role, you’ll help design, develop and operate mobile payment backends that power real-time payment applications globally. You’ll collaborate with international partners and a cross-functional team to push modern architectures, microservices and continuous delivery. You’ll mentor others and lead improvements to deployment pipelines, shaping scalable, robust payment solutions. Quarkus * Provide technical leadership and guidance in architecture and DevOps practices * Enhance and advise on Continuous Delivery pipelines and deployment infrastructure * Work in a SCRUM team responsible for applications end-to-end (DevOps) * Mentor colleagues in architecture, engineering and DevOps skills Requisiti fondamentali * Higher education in information technology (university degree or equivalent) * Experience in Java Applications engineering * Knowledge of Java Backend Development (JDK, Maven, testing with JUnit/Mockito/Wiremock), Quarkus, Wildfly, JPA/Hibernate/Panache * Experience with SQL/Oracle, REST/SOAP interfaces, API security methods (mTLS, OAuth, JWS, JWT) * Experience with GitLab, GitHub, Docker, Openshift, Jenkins, Jira * Agile mindset and willingness to learn * Good English and conversational Italian * team-oriented * proactive * willingness to deep dive into business * Java backend development * Microservices * Kafka
