Etex are seeking a R&D; Intumescent & Process Specialist to join the R&D; Department of Promat Italy, based in Filago Plant (BG). What you'll do 1. Product Development & Innovation * Conduct patent and literature reviews to define project scopes and problem statements. * Develop project plans, test formulations on a lab scale, and extrapolate them to production processes. * Design, monitor, and analyze fire test programs to meet high-standard building and industry requirements. * Source new raw materials to enhance product performance, lower costs, and reduce the CO2 footprint. * Collaborate with internal experts, operations, universities,
suppliers, and external partners. * Train stakeholders on technologies/product performance and support grant and patent applications. 2. Project & Portfolio Management * Lead projects by defining scope with sponsors, conducting risk analyses, and preparing decision meetings. * Manage project databases and development plans in alignment with company project management standards. * Coordinate and delegate tasks within the team, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget. * Report progress clearly to stakeholders and proactively provide mitigation plans for potential delays. * Oversee laboratory management, including equipment and personnel coordination. 3. Technical Assistance & Support * Clarify and define technical requests from internal and external stakeholders. * Oversee material technology and performance for the assigned portfolio (Intumescent, lamination, extrusion, injection
