Overview Senior Accountant based in Milan to support the French entities of a multinational group. You will handle day-to-day accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, collaborating with local advisors and auditors. The role emphasize process improvements, internal controls, and cross-border finance activities within a European team. You work in a fast-paced environment driving accuracy and timely reporting, with a clear focus on the French market and GAAP knowledge. Retribuzione / Benefits * Permanent contract * Full-time * Salary 43.000 - 48.000 RAL Responsabilità * Manage day-to-day accounting for the Group's French entities * Oversee AP, AR, sales, purchases and non-trade payables * Support cash management,



payments and financial reporting * Maintain and review financial records including fixed assets and payroll postings * Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations * Manage VAT returns and statutory tax reporting with local advisors * Liaise with external auditors and resolve accounting matters * Contribute to process improvements, internal controls and finance projects * Provide operational support for meetings and corporate activities Requisiti fondamentali * Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent * Minimum 3 years of experience in general and tax accounting * Solid knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping and reporting * Experience with finance, asset management and payment processes * Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel * Fluent in English and Italian; French is a plus * Knowledge of French GAAP and local accounting/tax regulations is preferred but not mandatory * Attention to detail * Reliability * Problem-solving * SAP * Microsoft Excel * Tax accounting and VAT reporting
