Overview In this Pre-Sales Solution Engineer role, you partner with sales to align Informatica’s solutions with customer visions and drive technical qualification and demonstrations. You work closely with cross-functional teams to refine product positioning, deliver compelling demos and workshops, and translate technical value into business outcomes. You act as a trusted advisor, bridging technology with customer needs during the sales cycle. This role supports enterprise customers in Italy, contributing to Salesforce’s data-centric AI transformation and customer success goals. Responsabilità * Lead pre-delivery activities for customer demos, including discovery, qualification, and presentations * Respond to RFIs/RFPs with technical insight and value propositions * Manage customer engagements and opportunities with minimal support for assigned accounts * Collaborate with Data Foundations, Product Management, Engineering,
and Product Marketing to improve product positioning and marketing outcomes * Share best practices and maintain up-to-date certification requirements * Partner with Customer Success for adoption support and technical advisory activities * Provide product direction feedback and support executive-level events and demos Requisiti fondamentali * 5+ years of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience * Bachelor in Computer Engineering or related field * Basic knowledge of hybrid deployment, data warehousing, databases, and BI concepts * Strong communication skills for presentations and storytelling * Experience engaging with influencers, coaches, decision makers, and partners * Ability to travel up to 50% and work flexible hours * Experience in data integration, MDM, or data governance is highly preferred * Cloud ecosystem knowledge (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure) is preferred * Basic knowledge of cloud security is desirable * English and Italian language proficiency * Degree or equivalent experience * Experience in go-to-market use
