Overview As a Field Service Engineer, you will execute service tasks across installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades while adhering to Hitachi Energy standards and safety guidelines. You will work hands-on with HV equipment, analyze technical issues on-site or remotely, and ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service delivery. You will coordinate materials and report outcomes, driving improvements to prevent repeated faults. This role offers front-line impact in a mission-driven energy tech environment with substantial field travel. and retrofits * Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence * Coordinate availability and quality of materials, parts, and tools for service activities * Prepare documentation and reports for customer sign-off * Build and maintain strong customer relationships and understand their needs * Apply safety and environmental practices and report unsafe conditions * Travel within Italy to service sites (>80%) * Contribute to customer satisfaction by aligning work with customer orders and expectations Requisiti fondamentali * Electrotechnical diploma * On-site experience with HV equipment * Fluency in Italian and English * Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines * Willingness to travel in Italy (>80%) * teamwork * communication * problem-solving * HV equipment familiarity * service and troubleshooting skills * ability to follow safety guidelines and processes
