Offerta Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for: * Act as the primary liaison between the Italian operations and the international headquarters, ensuring alignment on procurement, operational and commercial objectives. * Lead the establishment and start-up of the company's Italian operations, including local supplier network development and operational infrastructure setup. * Drive market development activities across Italy, identifying sourcing opportunities and building long‑term relationships with growers, grower groups and industry stakeholders. * Support the legal, administrative and operational setup of the local entity,
coordinating with external partners and service providers. * Provide regular market intelligence, crop forecasts and procurement updates to the international leadership team. * Represent the company in the Italian fresh produce industry and develop the company's local presence and reputation. Competenze ed esperienza A successful Country Operation Manager - Fruit Apple & Kiwi should have: * Extensive knowledge of agronomy, procurement, or fresh produce supply chains. * A strong network of independent growers in Italy. * Proven expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and operational management. * Solid understanding of Temperature‑controlled supply chain and export processes. * An entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on problem‑solving and innovation.
