Nature and Purpose of the Position The Senior Refund Operator is an experienced operational professional responsible for carrying out standard Refund Operator activities while acting as a reliable point of reference for the Venice team when the Manager is not on site.

The role remains fully operational and serves as a key liaison between the Venice team and the Airport Manager ad interim, helping to ensure smooth communication and providing support on day-to-day operational matters when required. The position does not include direct people management responsibilities but requires a high degree of autonomy, reliability, and operational expertise.

Main Duties and Responsibilities In addition to the standard Refund Operator responsibilities, the Senior Refund Operator will:

- Act as a reliable point of reference for colleagues based on experience and operational knowledge.
- Serve as a liaison between the Venice team and the Malpensa Airport Manager when needed.
- Provide practical support to colleagues in handling day-to-day operational issues.
- Escalate relevant operational matters to the Manager when necessary.
- Support and guide less experienced colleagues by sharing knowledge, best practices, and operational know-how.
- Ensure operational continuity when the Manager is not physically present on site.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational accuracy.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and customer-oriented professional who can work autonomously in a dynamic airport environment.

The ideal candidate

- Has an excellent command of English.
- Speaks additional foreign languages, which will be considered a strong advantage.




- Has previous experience in similar roles, preferably within airports, retail, customer service, or other customer-facing environments.
- Has experience handling cash, tills, and financial transactions, with a high level of accuracy and reliability.
- Is flexible and available to work shifts according to airport operational requirements.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can perform effectively under pressure.
- Is autonomous, responsible, and reliable, with sufficient experience to act as an operational point of reference when the Manager is not on site.
- Is based within convenient commuting distance of Venice Airport, considering the shift patterns and working hours required by airport operations.

- Number of refunded transactions.
- Refunding mistake ratio.

Background and Education The following experience will be considered an advantage:

- Commercial background.
- Experience in face-to-face customer service.
- Experience managing tills and cash transactions.
- Previous airport experience.
- Customer service experience.

Compensation

- Indicative Gross Annual Salary (RAL): €23,000 - €27,000.
- CCNL Commercio e terziario;

Please note that, while this position is intended for a Senior Refund Operator profile, the Company reserves the right to evaluate candidates for the Refund Operator position where their experience, competencies, and professional background are considered more aligned with an entry-level role.
