Material Cost Analyst
This highly visible role is responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and controllership of raw material and logistics costs. In this position, you will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams to drive cost visibility, improve processes, ensure compliance, and support informed business decisions.
Responsibilities Responsible for planning, analyzing, and driving execution of material cost.
Advise Operations and Business Unit Finance teams on material and develop and implement process improvement recommendations to drive efficiencies and cost visibility.
Responsible for delivering efficient and accurate financial reporting and analysis to internal clients (Operations/Supply Chain Management, Business Units and Sectors) and ensuring compliance with U.GAAP accounting standards and Momentive's internal financial policies.
Responsible for analysis of monthly Inflation, variance vs standard and financial reporting of logistics cost; budgeting process of material cost, quarterly forecasting, and ad hoc estimations.
Design and improve process/reporting of Raw Material cost and work with appropriate business partners to deliver on assigned projects.
Review and approve specific business transactions as determined by Momentive's delegation of authority policy, in coordination with Operations Finance Management, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, and Sector and Business Unit Management teams.
Required Qualifications C.MBA finance, accounting, business, or related field.
4-5 years of progressive Finance experience as a Finance Analyst, Cost Analyst, Operations Analyst, or related role.
Strong Material Cost Planning & Analysis, Financial analysis, Budgeting.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment across different time zones.
Fluency in English is mandatory. #Preferred Qualifications Strong working experience using SAP/Business Warehouse.
