The Project Coordinator serves as the local single point of contact (SPOC) between the business teams in Italy and the project team, focusing on task management to ensure timely completion of project tasks and deliverables.
Main Responsibilities:
- Track project tasks, actions, and open points for the business teams.
- Follow up with task owners to ensure timely deliveries of inputs, documents, data, and approvals.
- Maintain an up-to-date task list or tracker including status, owners, and due dates.
- Alert the Project Manager to any delays or blockers as early as possible.
- Organize project documents on the Teams/SharePoint site.
- Act as the primary contact for business users regarding project topics.
- Facilitate communication between Italian teams and IT teams located in other regions.
- Coordinate activities and inform key users across various departments.
- Organize meetings, workshops, training, and test sessions as per the project schedule.
- Provide task updates to the Project Manager and assist with project reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business,
Engineering, Economics, IT, or related fields.
- 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, support, or administration.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and a basic understanding of business processes.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous.
- Fluency in Italian and good written and spoken English.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and comfortable with Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience with task-tracking tools such as Planner, Azure DevOps, or Jira is a plus.
- Must be available in person at the office for the project's duration.
- Strong organizational skills with consistent follow-up.
- Comfortable communicating with various stakeholders at different levels.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a multinational business setting.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
