About the Role
As a Nightlife City Tour Guide, you are the face of the city after dark.
Your mission is to lead groups of international tourists, introduce them to our partner bars and clubs, and deliver a memorable, festive, and safe experience. You are the leader, the entertainer, and the guardian of the good vibes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hosting &
- Leadership
- Lead groups (3–5 nights per week) through a set bar and club route, keeping to schedule.
- Vibe creator: be the engine of the night. Welcome guests with energy, break the ice, run games (beer pong, ice-breakers), and spark interactions.
- Storytelling & engagement: share stories about the city and its nightlife while interacting in a friendly, personal way with every guest.
2. Operations &
- Logistics
- Booking management: handle check-in at the start of the night, verify reservations (RSVPs), manage guest lists, and process on-site payments (via SumUp).
- Coordinate logistics with partner bars (announce the group's arrival, manage included drinks, ensure smooth service).
- Be responsible for the cash float or payment terminal (SumUp) for on-site ticket sales.
3. Safety &
- Customer Service
- Guest safety: ensuring group safety is priority #1. Promote responsible drinking, handle potential conflicts diplomatically, and make sure no one is left behind.
- Be the main point of contact.
Answer questions, handle concerns, and make sure every guest has a great time.
- Adaptability: handle the unexpected (crowded bar, difficult guest, route change) with calm and professionalism.
4. Sales &
- Promotion
- Distribute promotional materials (flyers, wristbands) and share details on our offers.
- Actively promote upcoming tours or events.
- Encourage happy guests to leave positive online reviews (Google, TripAdvisor, GetYourGuide) at the end of the tour.
Who You Are
- Personality: extremely outgoing, dynamic, charismatic, with natural leadership. You love to party, meet new people, and be the center of attention.
- Reliability: highly punctual, organized, and responsible. The ability to manage a group while having fun is essential.
- Languages:
- English (Fluent or Bilingual — essential) — our clientele is mostly international.
- Italian (Fluent).
- A third language (Spanish, Italian, German, etc.) is a major plus — Italian is a strong asset.
- Skills: excellent communication and public-speaking ability. Able to manage groups and command respect with a smile. Stress-resistant and able to solve problems in real time.
- Flexibility: must be available in the evening and at night, including weekends.
