We’re looking for a Country Manager working in Rome office.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing our day-to-day operations to achieve quality goals and accuracy for products.
- Support Hiring/Training/Scheduling/Coaching/Managing Trip Leaders/TEL’s performance management to meet company’s guidelines to achieve excellence goals
- Create a strong, high performing trip leaders’ team that exemplify the company’s culture and values and team spirit
- Ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- Effectively participating with travelers on sites to support trip leaders/TELs and obtain live feedback from passengers
- Create strong relationship with primary and secondary vendors and support with buying goals
- Design new tours and identify, evaluate, and implement authentic experiences that immerse our travelers in Italian culture.
- 24/7 Emergency support and driving resolutions of operations/customer issues.
Qualifications
- Proven and effective travel industry and staff management experience in the tourism industry and working with American customers. (Minimum 5 years)
- Minimum bachelor’s degree educational background
- Excellent interpersonal / communication and problem-solving skills
- Proven vendor relations and negotiation skill is a plus
- Fluency in written & spoken English
- Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel
- Ability to implement US Global Corporate Company of performance driven strategy on product quality, operation initiatives and cost management
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Proven success in making difficult decisions and taking calculated risks.
- Ability to implement a global business strategy.
- Experience leading projects and operational initiatives and managing costs.
- Strong attitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving and addressing deviations.
- In-depth knowledge of Italy, its culture, and its geography.
- Team spirit, flexibility, versatility, and enthusiasm.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional maturity.
Total Rewards The salary for this position is 50,000 EUR annually. This is a fixed salary aligned with the level of the role. In addition, this role is eligible for:
