Position Description: Application Performance Specialist – QA Assistant
The Application Performance Specialist – QA Assistant supports software quality assurance activities by testing application performance, identifying defects, and ensuring system reliability and stability. Responsibilities include assisting with load, stress, and scalability testing, monitoring response times and resource utilization, executing test cases, and documenting results.
The role involves collaborating with QA engineers, developers, and technical teams to investigate issues, verify bug fixes, and perform regression testing. The assistant also helps prepare performance reports, maintain testing documentation, and recommend improvements to application performance and user experience.
Candidates should have a basic understanding of software testing methodologies, performance metrics, APIs, SQL, and client-server architecture. Familiarity with tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
The position reports to a QA Lead, QA Manager, or Application Performance Specialist, contributing to reliable, responsive, and high-quality software applications.
