Opportunity Overview
Teradyne is building a dedicated European team with a clear mission: to win every AI and compute startup emerging across Europe.
As one of the two founding Sales Engineers on this team, you will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with AI accelerator, inference, compute, chiplet, and photonics companies, often at the earliest stages of their silicon development journey, before their first tape-out.
This is a hunter role.
You will open doors, build trusted relationships with founders and engineering leaders,
and convert early technical engagements into long-term Teradyne partnerships. Working closely with Marketing, Field Product Specialists, Applications Engineering, and Teradyne's US AI Startup Program, you will leverage established tools, processes, and playbooks to manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
Travel: Up to 60% across Europe, with occasional travel to the US and Asia.
Key Responsibilities
• Map the European AI and compute startup ecosystem and proactively identify, qualify, and prioritize target accounts based on funding stage, tape-out timing, test strategy, and OSAT/foundry partnerships.
• Own the full sales cycle for new logo acquisition, including prospecting, discovery, technical positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
• Engage test and product engineering leaders early in their development cycle to influence and shape production test strategies around
