Reflexallen Group, one of the leader in the automotive field is looking for a Commodity Buyer.
Role
Commodity Buyer is responsible of identifying and maintaining suppliers relations, selecting new suppliers and negotiate commodity prices, frame agreements and contractual conditions such as development and delivery lead-time, frozen/flexible/forecast delivery schedule and MOQ/MDQ quantity. He/She works in collaboration with Regional and Group buyers/resources to develop and execute sourcing plans.
Main responsibilities
Set-up, lead and support for local improvement activities like (supplier selection, negotiation frame contracts, cost-analysis, make-or buy analysis etc.) in a sustainable and customer-oriented way; Search and negotiation with suppliers, competitors and companies of our Group for new products MAKE / BUY; Search of new source for already-in-portfolio products; Coordinates launch / RFQ / whole purchasing process, technical approval and quality ’til first order; Development, coordination and implementation of our purchasing strategy (standards, tools,
supply-chain management, interfaces, communication); Collaboration with other departments such as Technical Office, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations; Secure transparency of cost-structure on material and suppliers. Implementation and adaptation of standards for all purchasing processes, secure reliability and sustainable documentation of purchasing processes, according to ISO requirements.
