AYES, an international engineering and technology consulting company, is looking for a Configuration Manager – Software Configuration Management (SCM) with strong hands‐on experience in Git, software development and merge conflict resolution to support an international engineering project.

Responsibilities Manage software configuration and source code management activities using Git, SVN and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) tools.
Perform Git branch management, merging, rebasing and conflict resolution , ensuring code consistency and integration across different software versions.
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve source code conflicts , leveraging hands‐on software development and programming experience.
Support software development teams in repository management, code integration and version control processes.
Administer and maintain configuration management environments, including IBM Engineering Test Management (ETM) and Global Configuration Management (GCM).
Manage software baselines, repository access and configuration management processes.
Support release management activities and ensure consistency and traceability across software versions.
Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to improve configuration management workflows.
Requirements Minimum 2 years of hands‐on experience in software development , software integration or a closely related technical role.
Strong hands‐on experience with Git , particularly branching, merging, rebasing and conflict resolution.
Solid programming skills and practical coding experience , with the ability to understand, modify and troubleshoot source code.
